Categories Taking a cruise is a regular vacation for many, a dream for vacation for some and, quite honestly, not appealing to others.  With that being said, a cruise has so much to offer; a luxurious room attended to daily by your cabin steward, a wide variety of dining choices, nighty entertainment, swimming pools, fun bars full of lively music, discos and quiet lounges to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail – in short, endless options to appeal to many tastes.

There are times when I speak with clients and they like the options that a cruise provides, but for multiple reasons, a cruise just isn’t attractive to them.  Maybe it’s being on the water, perhaps it’s the idea of being in a different place each day rather than a set location, maybe they didn’t have a great experience on a past cruise.  When I am having these conversations I always offer up an all-inclusive resort as an option.  With an AI, as they are often called, I point out that there are many different styles of resorts to choose from (family friendly, adult only, casual/informal, luxurious/gourmet, large scale, small scale and so on), there’s literally an AI to suit most any travel lifestyle or request.

A bonus to an all-inclusive resort is just what’s in the name, everything is literally “all included”!  Your meals, unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, delicious snacks throughout the day, fun activities, nighttime shows….all included.  You won’t be receiving a large bill at the end of your stay with all of the extras that you had to pay for along the way.  As a general rule, one thing that you will have to pay extra for would be spa treatments and golf, but in some cases a complimentary massage or even a round of golf may be included – I can help you identify resorts that have a complimentary service or two.

If you, or anyone you know, ever says “I just don’t like cruises”, I’d love to speak with them (or you) and have a chat about all-inclusive resorts…I bet that I can find an amazing vacation opportunity for you.

Happy travels,
Kyle
